어느 날 수상한 상자를 들고 어머니 집을 찾은 짐.
짐은 어머니에게 상자를 전하면서 꼭 사랑하는 사람에게 전달 해야한다고 말하지만
그 상자는 함께 살고 있는 아들(아담)에게 건네진다.
얼마 뒤 상자에서는 괴 생명체가 튀어나와 어머니를 살해하고
아담과 그의 가족들의 생명을 위협하게 되는데…
